Convert (WHS) Container types

A (WHS) container type can be converted to a different value based on the (WHS) Container type, Carrier, or Carrier container types.

The search sequence for finding a conversion is as follows:

  1. Carrier Container type
  2. Carrier
  3. (WHS) Container type

Setup of conversion on Carrier container types

Navigate to Warehouse management > Setup > Shipping > Shipping carriers

You can maintain the container type and external code for each carrier container type in the Shipping Carriers dialog.

  1. Select the Carrier in the navigation grid
  2. Go to fast tab Services and select the Carrier service
  3. Go to fast tab Container types and select the Carrier container type
  4. Link the Carrier container type to (WHS) Container type
  5. Add the External code if it is not equal to the Carrier container type ID

Navigate to Cepheo® > Shipment booking > Setup > Shipment booking external values

In the form navigate in the tree to:

  • nShift Delivery (Unifaun) > Carrier > (Your Carrier) > Container type
  • nShift Ship (Consignor) > Carrier > (Your Carrier) > Container type

How to add a new Container type conversion

  1. Select Carrier in the tree
  2. Expand Carrier and select the carrier where the Container type conversion must be added
  3. Select Container type
  4. Click on New
  5. Select the Container type to be converted in the field Value
  6. Enter the conversion value in the field External Code

  7. Click on Save to save the conversion

On a (WHS) Container type you can set a conversion value in the field External code.
