If receiving or shipping packaging material, without having a reference to a specific sale- or purchase order, the packaging solution offers the possibility to manually create a shipping note without an order reference, but instead just using a reference to a customer, a vendor or a carrier and information of the external address for the registration. If setup is done for customer, intercompany customer/vendor, these addresses will also be available to be selected.
In [Inventory management/Common/Shipping packaging/Shipping notes] this registration can be performed when creating a new shipping note and perform registration of "Outbound packaging" or "Inbound packaging".
