Click: Global data management -> Periodic -> Clean up Record updates
Identifies and deletes duplicate records in the 'Record updates' table.
Uniqueness of records are determined based on the following information:
- DataRecID
- TableRecID
- TableCompanyID
Note: Previously deactivated records are NOT deleted by the cleanup job.
If duplicates are detected, then the job will check records that are linked to records in local companies
- if there are more than 1, and these are linked to different local records, then an error will be given, and no records will be deleted
- if there are more than 1, and these are linked to same local record, then the the oldest record (the record with the lowest RecId or the oldest CreatedDateTime) will be kept, and all others deleted
- if there are only 1 record linked, then all records which are not linked will be removed
- if there are no records linked, then all records will be deleted except the oldest record (the record with the lowest RecId or the oldest CreatedDateTime)
