Setting up yield for an item, can be done in the form (Released product) and can be found in [Product information management / Common / Released products – Fast tab Engineer]
The yield value is the opposite (reciprocal) of the variable scrap value, and the two values are interdependent and updated at the same time. It is up to the user which of the values to use/state. When typing a yield% of 80, the variable scrap is updated to 25. When typing the variable scrap as 25, the yield is updated to 80.
