Quality workspace

To provide a better overview of quality measurements (test results) and status for advanced quality orders, a quality workspace is available. The quality workspace is called ‘ Quality analysis ’ and can be found in the Quality menu and in the workspace overview.

The Quality Analysis dashboard does not require any add-in or any type of external connection. All information is presented using native D365 F&S elements.

Presentation of data and actions are divided into several tab pages: ‘ Summary’ , ‘ Advanced quality orders/test results ’ and ‘ Quality samples

The graphical elements can be configured to present different selection of data and date intervals, and all user settings are stored automatically.

When setting up a date interval (from date – to date) the wanted type of date can be selected using the drop-down menu. The available types of data are dependent on the data that can be presented by the individual graphical element. In cases where more than one selection is possible, the available data that can be selected depends on the data available within the type and interval of date chosen.

The chosen dates will automatically be synchronized with the current date. An example could be that we always want to see the selected data for the last week, therefore we set up the ‘from date’ to 7 days before today, and the ‘to date’ to be today. Looking at the same element tomorrow, will still show 7 days back, because all dates are automatically synchronized according to the value of ‘today’.

All graphical elements are ‘clickable’ and will open a form showing advanced quality orders or quality samples according to the selected data, represented by the part being ‘clicked’.

The graphical elements do support a ‘hover’ function, showing relevant information when the mouse pointer hovers over the selected element.

This tab page has a pie chart, showing the number and status for samples within a selected timespan, and a selection of menus relevant when working with quality samples.

The following setup can be performed for the pie chart showing quality samples:

FieldValue
From dateThe date from when the data is being shown
To dateThe date to which the data is being shown
Sample dateThe type of date is being selected as the basis for searching for data to be presented. The following types of dates are available for quality samples: Sample taken – The date/timer a sample has been created Sample delivered – The date/time a sample has been delivered to the lab
