Validation of selected values

When changing line property there is now a validation added, helping th user to select the correct value, also added to the duplicate line function.

Working times

When displaying working times for the days and the calendar is already set for reduced time we need to ignore the position equivalent.

Hour balance improvements

New role: Cepheo Timesheet hour balance administrator

A new security role has been introduced: Cepheo Timesheet hour balance administrator.

This role provides the ability to:

  • View and maintain hour balances for all workers.
  • Access both Week hour balance and Total hour balance across the organization.

Estimated hour balance transactions

Is supported in Cepheo Timesheet Payroll Integration from version 2026.2.2.5 and later

It is now possible to generate hour balance transactions for periods without any timesheet journals or project hour journals. These automatically generated entries are marked as estimated transactions.

Estimated transactions are created for flextime hour balances when the option Create estimated transactions is enabled.

It is now possible to create hour balance transactions for periods without any timesheet journals or project hour journals. These transactions are marked with estimated transactions. They will be calculated and created for flextime hour balances where "Create estimated transactions" are enabled.

The Create hour balance transactions process will calculate and generate estimated hour balance transactions for all applicable periods.

Estimated transactions are not created for periods where a timesheet journal is open or pending

Hour balance status form enhancements

Delayed calculation

The calculation of hour balances is now deferred to improve performance and usability:

  • When the form is opened, workers in My team are loaded, but no calculations are performed automatically.
  • Similarly, switching to the All workers view loads all workers but does not trigger calculation
  • Calculation only occurs when the Calculate button is pressed.
You can select one or more workers in the grid and press Calculate to limit the calculation to those workers
Include inactive users

You can now include inactive users in the hour balance calculation.

Inactive users are only displayed after the calculation has been executed.

Week hour balance improvements

  • The Update button has been renamed to Refresh.
  • The Week hour balance now displays the total hours for the entire timesheet period, not only the hours for a single selected timesheet.

Total hour balance improvements

  • The Update button has been renamed to Refresh.
  • A new Calculate button has been added. It calculates and creates hour balance transactions.
    Running the calculation may take some time depending on the volume of data.
