Settle packaging

If packaging must be settled, the menu "Settle packaging" will give the possibility to choose a quantity for a packaging ID to be settled in a dialog.

![It is possible to settle packaging for customers/vendors and carriers (if vendor account exists for the shipping carrier).

The packaging ID will be settled using a sales/purchase order, created automatically when performing the "Settle packaging" The settlement will use the following order types:](../images/image_086.png)

Customer à Sales order Vendor à Purchase order Carrier à Purchase order

NOTE: When settling packaging, it is for the on hand of the Site + Warehouse setup on the address you are settling. This means, that if you are using the same Site + Warehouse on several addresses, it will settle the on hand for all these addresses, as they use the same Site + Warehouse. It also means that the Site + Warehouse to settle, can not be changed during the process.
