When the company is a production company, the packaging materials are sometimes part of the Bill of material/Formula. If this is the case and you also want the use the CEPHEO Shipping Packaging Management functionality to register used shipping containers/pallets, these would be included twice. A setup suggestion is to keep the containers/pallets as part of the BOM/Formula, but setup the BOM/formula version with a positive line in the production warehouse and a negative line in the FG warehouse. This means that when the production picking is done, the containers are used from the 'production' warehouse and put back into the inventory in the warehouse, from which you would sell AND register the usage using the SPM functionality in connection with the packing slip update. This works for items that are type 'POOL', Invoiceable or Returnable.
