Batch Information Display

For companies working with batch-controlled products, decisions regarding the inventory on-hand (batch merging), sales of and consumption of (raw material consumption in production) the individual batches, is often taken based on information from the individual batches.

Information related to a batch, can be directly stored on the batch itself or in form of one or more batch attributes and attribute values added to the batch according to product setup.

Batch attributes and attribute values are only linked to the actual batch number and are therefore available for processes where decisions are taken regarding which batch to use, but in standard D36FO access to this information is difficult.

This solution is adding full transparency for required Batch information to processes such as:

On-hand lists

The function of adding multiple lines for sales order (Add lines function on the sales order lines)

Batch merging

Reservation (for sales or production/batch orders)

On the ‘Batches’ form the Batch information display functionality is now also available, enabling you to see the batch/batch attribute related data as setup for the product in ‘Batch Information display setup’ either via a product-specific setup (table) or a grouping or All:
