Navigate to Cepheo® > Ledger import > Journal import groups in the Modules menu.

The Journal import groups is used to manage import groups for multi-company journal imports. It allows users to define, configure, and maintain import groups that control how ledger data files are processed and imported across different companies.

Key features

  • Create and Edit Import Groups: Add new import groups or modify existing ones.
  • Set Parser Rules: Define parsing rules for each import group to ensure correct data interpretation.
  • Manage Company Filters: Restrict imports to specific companies using company filters.
  • Maintain Journal imports: Maintain which companies to import to and which Journal Import is used in that company
  • Import, view and process files: Start imports, create journals, or view related tables and transactions.

Unique identifier for the import group.

Description

Brief description of the import group’s purpose.

Parser rule

Choose Parser rule that determines how files are parsed.

Company filter field

Specify which field in the imported data contains the company identifikator.

Process folder

Name of the folder that contains the files to be imported

Archive folder

Name of the folder where the processed files are moved to

Create journals

Create project and/or ledger journals after import of files from Azure.

Maintain which companies to import to and which Journal Import is used in that company
