Unique signature

Dawid Kaczmarek Updated by Dawid Kaczmarek

CEPHEO process industries for D365FO introduces the ‘Unique signature’, which means that the same record cannot be signed twice in a row by the same user. This is designed for data, where an approver and activator must be different or where the same user shouldn't be allowed to approve and un-approve/activate and un-activate.

The new parameter 'Unique signature' is available both for the 4 new signature requirements as well as the standard 8 built-in requirements:

Examples:

If 'Require unique signature' has been marked YES on 'Approve BOM version' user 1 can approve it, but NOT also to un-approve it

If ' Require unique signature ' hasn't been marked YES on 'Approve BOM version', but on 'Activate BOM version', user 1 is allowed to approve or un-approve a BOM version, but not also to activate the same version, but the user who activates it is not allowed to un-activate it.

If the field Require unique signature ' is marked YES the same user is not allowed to update unique fields if he or she was the last signer
