I. Check license plate on inventory transaction during picking list posting

A new parameter in Mix Pool production setup controls whether disposition code restrictions are enforced during picking list posting for inventory in the Production input location. Previously, materials with a blocking disposition code could still be consumed from this location regardless of batch status, posing a quality risk. When enabled, the system validates the disposition code at posting time and blocks consumption of restricted materials.

II. Check batch disposition code on the picking list line

A new parameter, "Check batch disposition code on the picking list line", has been added to the main parameters in the Advance quality module.When set to YES, this parameter checks whether a disposition code is required for the batch on the selected picking list line.The example below explains the use of the new parameter.

1. We produce a certain component, and right after production we take a sample and start a quality order.

2. In the meantime, the pallet or pallets with this component are moved to the Production input location.

3. The quality order is completed, but the test result indicates that the batch should be blocked (high contamination).

4. The system changes the disposition code to "not-allowed for production", but since the batch is in the Production input location, this setting is ignored and something can be produced using the contaminated component.

Summary:The item code is available in the PROD IN location, but the disposition code has not yet been entered. In this case, the system will not pick the batch for production. The system will treat the batch as blocked.
