Navigate to Cepheo® > Ledger journal import > Imported files or Imported files - all companies

The Imported files page is used to maintain and manage journal files. You can review file status, access imported transactions, and complete the processing lifecycle of each file.

Description

Imported transactions

Opens the Imported transactions view for the selected file. This allows you to inspect all parsed journal lines and continue validation or posting processes.

Mark as imported

Marks the selected file as Imported.

Use this action when:

  • The file has been validated and confirmed correct.
  • No additional changes or reprocessing are required.

Close file

Marks the file as Closed.

A file will automatically be closed when all imported transactions are marked as posted.

Closed files are excluded from the following Journal import process tiles:

  • Files with errors
  • Files ready for Ledger journals
  • Files ready for Project journals

Use this action to finalize a file and remove it from active import queues.

Reopen file

Reopens a file that has previously been closed.

This is useful if:

  • The file requires additional corrections.
  • The file was closed prematurely.
  • Further processing is necessary after review.

Any errors that occur during the import process or within the imported transactions are recorded in the Error message field.
The Has errors field displays Yes if any errors occurred during the import process or if any of the imported transactions contain errors.
