Mix pools

Dawid Kaczmarek Updated by Dawid Kaczmarek

Before firming planned production/batch orders, the planned orders can be combined into a new mix pool. Mix pools can also be created by using the mixing principle for formula versions. The Mix pool can hold several production/batch orders and several item numbers. When firming the planned production/batch orders, information of the mix pool is transferred to the production/batch orders.

The production mix pool can be used for planning and for automatic reporting as finished and automatic BOM consumption for production BOM/formula lines if setup for this.

Functionality for selecting, adding to and removal of a production/batch order to a mix pool is available for both planned production/batch orders and for actual production/batch orders.

When selecting one or more records and activating the menu item button "Add to mix pool", the selected records will be given the same production mix pool ID. When records without a Mix pool ID are selected, a new Mix pool ID for the records will be created and allocated to the records, using the number sequence for the Mix pool ID. When an existing pool ID is selected, the records will be updated with the selected Mix pool ID.
