To be able to use packaging management as part of a transfer order flow, the number sequence for transfer order shipping notes must be setup. See section 4.3.4 for how to.
If you want the calculation of packaging type and qty to be done automatically, it can be selected in which process the calculation should be performed automatically at shipping and/or at receiving. See section 4.3.1 for how to.
If you want to use auto registration, the “From” and “To” warehouses must be setup with information of the packaging group to be used when calculating the type and qty for the packaging. This is done on the warehouse address used for delivery, using the menu “Packaging management”
