Asset management work order lifecycle models

In the Modules menu, Navigate to: Asset management > Setup > Work orders > Lifecycle models

A new set of parameters has been added to the standard Work order life cycle models in a new fast tab called "Cepheo® asset management mobile".

UPDATE WORK ORDER LIFECYCLE STATES

These parameters controls updating Work order lifecycle state based on the values of Status at the related work order schedule lines.

Only lifecycle states associated to the current lifecycle model can be selected/specified.

Field

Description

First job Started

When the first work order schedule line at the work order is updated to status "Started", the work order lifecycle state is to be updated to the specified state.

If not specified, no update will be done.

All jobs Stopped

When/if all work order schedule lines related to the work order have Status = "Stopped", the work order lifecycle state is to be updated to the specified state.

If not specified, no update will be done.

All jobs Ended

When/if all work order schedule lines related to the work order have Status = "Ended", the work order lifecycle state is to be updated to the specified state.

If not specified, no update will be done.

VALIDATIONS ON JOB ENDED

When a job is ended (Status is set to "Ended" at the work order job schedule ) in the Asset management mobile app , validations can be applied at different levels. Each validation rule is described below.

Open maintenance downtime

Check if an open downtime registration exists for the asset at the work order job.

Downtime is registered at a maintenance asset in connection with maintenance requests or work orders. An open downtime registration is a downtime registration with a start date/time but no end date/time.

This validation rule is not active, but only prepared for future use.

Validation level

Description

None

No validation is performed

Warning

A warning message is displayed, but status update is allowed, even if an open downtime registration exists

Warning: An open downtime registration exists for the asset

Error

An error message is displayed, and the status update is prevented/cancelled

Error: The open downtime registration at the asset must be closed - Status update not allowed

Unchecked mandatory checkpoint​s

Check if any mandatory checkpoints in the work order job checklist remains to be performed (checked).

No validation is performed

Warning

A warning message is displayed, but update is allowed.

Warning: Open mandatory checkpoint exists

Error

An error message is displayed, and the update is prevented/cancelled

Error: Open mandatory checkpoint exists - Status update not allowed

Missing hour registration

Check if no hour consumption has been registered for the work order job.

Validation level

Description

None

No validation is performed

Warning

A warning message is displayed, but status update is allowed, even if no hour registrations has been made.

Warning: No hour consumption is registered

Error

An error message is displayed, and the status update is prevented/cancelled

Error: Hour registration is missing - Status update not allowed

Missing required fault symptom

Check if a required a fault symptom registration is missing for the asset at the work order job.

The requirement for a fault symptom registration is controlled by parameters at the work order type.

Warning

A warning message is displayed, but status update is allowed, even if no hour fault symptom registration has been made.

Warning: Fault symptom registration is missing

Error

An error message is displayed, and the status update is prevented/cancelled

Check if a required a fault cause registration is missing for the asset at the work order job.

The requirement for a fault cause registration is controlled by parameters at the work order type.
