Change license plate disposition code

Cepheo Sample and Quality Management introduced the ability to assign a specific Batch disposition code to a license plate. The assignment of a disposition code to a license plate can be performed automatically, for example based on quality inspection results.

However, in certain situations, a warehouse worker must manually assign a disposition code to a license plate using the Warehouse Management app. For this purpose, the Change license plate disposition activity code has been introduced for use in mobile device menu setup.

This process can be handled in two different ways:

  1. System directed - the menu item defines which disposition code the change is applied to. In this case, the warehouse worker does not have the option to select a different disposition code.
  2. User directed - the warehouse worker can decide which disposition code should be assigned to a given license plate.

To use System directed logic, for the menu item with Activity code = Change license plate disposition, select the desired Batch disposition code in the Batch disposition code field (this code will be assigned to the selected license plate). In this case, the Allow select disposition code field must be set to No. An example of such a configuration is shown below:

The following shows an example view from the mobile device app. For a menu item configured in this way, after specifying the license plate number for which the disposition code is to be changed, it is not possible to select a different disposition code then Quaranteen.

User directed logic for changing license plate disposition code

To use User directed logic, for the menu item with Activity code = Change license plate disposition, set the Allow select disposition code flag to Yes. An example of such a configuration is shown below:

The following shows an example view from the mobile terminal. For a menu item configured this way, after specifying the license plate number for which the disposition code is to be changed, the user must indicate the new disposition code. By default, the currently assigned one is selected.
