Advanced Quality Control

The possibility of performing item tracing is a key element in quality assurance. This will be used if something (one or more batches) is not having the quality as expected, to investigate trace to manufacturing processes, raw materials, purchase orders, vendor batches, vendors, finished goods, sales orders and customers.

Item tracing can be done upstream or downstream for a specific item/batch combination and limited to a date interval. The trace is typically done from the Batch form, by activation the menu “item trace”.

The item tracing form will include information about standard quality data as well as information about advanced quality data.

The advanced quality data is shown divided into 3 different types:

  • Advanced quality orders derived from a process
  • Quality samples derived from a process
  • Advanced quality orders derived from quality samples
From each of the 3 types of data, the wanted inventory dimension can be presented. Embedded Image
