Register test results

Path: (Quality\Periodic\Quality management) Registering test results against adv. Quality order lines can be done in 3 places: Using the warehouse management app (as part of another process or as a separate action- see 4.8.2), on the advanced quality order lines/results and in a special form ‘Register test results’.

This form provides an easy way to enter test results based on a sample ID or batch number etc. At the top there is a filter section that can be used for manual entry or barcode scanning of a relevant sample label or quality order label to gain quick access to the relevant result lines.

In the column ‘Value’, you can enter the result for the whole test, or in case of several measurements for the test, you can enter the ‘result quantity’ and create additional re lines in the lower section (see 4.17.1). The ‘Order line result’ will then calculate the correct value dependent on the ‘Test value determination’ setting and validate that against the target values. This validation can be performed on either one of minimum, maximum or average values.

If you choose not to enter the ‘result quantity’, the system will automatically divide the sample quantity evenly to ‘result quantity’ for the number measurements registered, if setup for the test line.

To prevent registration of test results that are typed wrongly are performing unintended updates for quality orders, a dialog can be presented if the tested value is outside the expected values. The user now must confirm values that will fail the test. This is controlled by a global parameter “Test results data entry warning”. The parameter is found by the following path: (Quality\Setup\Advanced quality control parameters – Advanced quality control)

The value available is:

  • None No warning will be shown (default value)
  • Priority 1 Warning will be shown for test result of priority 1 tests only
  • All Warning will be shown for test result for all tests
Manual test result quantity

To be able to manually enter quantity for the registered test result, the test in the test group or on the advanced quality order must be marked YES in field 'Manual test result quantity':
