Sales order confirmation feature change

A new feature enhancement has been introduced to hide prices and totals from your sales confirmation document. This is a very specific requirement and should be considered carefully before enabling. This feature change has further parameter requirements on the customer and Sales order. These settings are controlled by this feature change and are not normally visible.

This article should be read carefully before enabling this feature change

Navigate to the  Feature management workspace and enable the Cepheo hide all totals from the Sales order confirmation.

On the customer a new check box option is available, this is enabled on the customer so any new sales order created for this customer will also use this parameter. The parameter is added to the Sales order defaults fast tab. This is optional depending on your requirements.

On the sales order, the same check box option is available, the value is defaulted from the customer, any change in requirements and this can be changed on the sales order before printing the order confirmation. Navigate to the Sales order header > General > Status group

On the Sales order confirmation the layout of the invoice body is changed to use the Simple layout option by default. The simple layout is a configurable option in the Business documents setup but this change is done automatically, this is provide a better layout after removing pricing information.

You do not need to change existing setup in the Business documents, this change happens automatically

The result on the confirmation is that the price, discounts and line total are removed from each line. Any charges on the line or header are removed. The totals row is removed.
