Using the "Add lines" functionality to select available on-hand and create multiple sales order lines at the same time, the Batch information display is available in the same way as for on-hand forms.

This gives the user an overview of on-hand and selected batch and batch attribute information, to support decision making when selecting amongst the available on-hand of the products to be transferred to sales order lines.

Recommendations: To support the standard data model in Dynamics365 the best possible way and prevent selling the same on-hand on more than one sales order line, it is recommended to setup automatic reservation (for WMS items) as well as automatic batch reservation (for WHS items). This will update the available physical quantity for a batch immediately when sales order lines are created through this process.

When working with WHS enabled products and using this tool to create sales order lines, the products must be setup with a reservation hierarchy having the batch number positioned above location and license plate information. When setting up display of storage dimensions for this form, it is important NOT to select Location and License plate to be shown, as this will result in an error when trying to create the lines (location and below cannot be stated on a sales order line for WHS items).
