Post Captitalized Interest Transactions

Under Cepheo and Cepheo Project Management, you will find the menu item Capitalized Interest Transaction. These are transactions created by the wizard where you can both post transactions and retrieve information regarding the processing of transactions and journals.

How to Post Transactions

Click Create Journal to begin the process.

Parameter Options

  • Period: Select the period you wish to create journals for
  • Project: Choose a specific project if you only want to create journal for that project
  • Post Journal: When selected, this will automatically post the journal after creation
  • Test: Use this option to validate the process and preview the results
  • Run in the Background: Set up batch processing to automatically create journals based on a scheduled interval

Post Journal Process

If you have not selected the option to create and post in the same process, the interface will display as follows:

Here you will see that the journal posting is pending, with a journal already created.

When you click Post, you can select either the marked line or all lines based on your parameter selection.
